Title: Cam timing specifics

Does anyone know what the specifications are for cam timing?

2006 model (K6?) oem cams

Searching the (jedi) archives, the closest I can find is the Yoshi cam timings. These are probably specific to them

Also, where can I buy slotted cam wheels so I can get my mechanic to dial them in accurately?
I'm in Brisbane, Qld OZ, if there's a reputable machinist that can mod the stock wheels

I'd have thought it's in the workshop manual you can get from our downloads section.
Can't say I've ever looked to know though.

Not sure why you need that info or slotted gears???

I made my slotted gears by milling those holes a bit wider. And my cam setting is 110/110°(lobe centers)
intake cam is stock and exhaust cam is also stock intake cam.

Big Geordi has slotted cam sprockets but his bike is highly modified.
Yoshi cams ,37mm throttle bodies and bigger valves ect .
I'm not sure he knows what the settings are as he told minute was a lot of dyno time to get everything set up properly.

The manual is first place I looked, followed by an hour of searching the forum posts. I think I saw a post that had the yoshi cams at 105/105. That's all I can find here, or out in the interwebs. No joy anywhere, hence the question :)

part of larger set of maintenance activities, I always had it done on my older bikes, along with other things, like balancing carbs, ignition timing etc. The rider experience afterwards is sublime, engine is smoother, less 'flywheel effect', more economical, more throttle control. Better than new.

So this is a bit of an experiment to see what happens if I eliminate what are really manufacturing compromises and tune it as the engineers intended.

During my searching, I was reminded of one or two other mods, like the PAIRS system.

I just wanted some more duration and lift to exhaust side due to I use turbocharger...
Those cam timings (lobe centers) are from my older turbo engine projects and copied from other turbo cam manufacturers..
Holeshot Racing uses SUZ 30 cams, made by Kent Cams on turbo engines with 112/112° lobe timing and the same cams on naturally aspirated engines with 105/105 setting, like Yoshi ST1 cams are set 105/105°.
I can't remember Suzukis stock timings exactly, I didn't write it down, But it was about 101/104 ( don't believe me and my bad memory)

That my intake cam/intake cam (110/110°) setting is a bit weaker between 1500 and 2000 rpm and over 2500 rpm its pulls stronger,
more stronger with higher revs.
 0.6 bar of boost gives more power with in/in cams than in/ex(stock) cams with 0.9 bar of boost.

indeed - but just a lightweight version - I'm not tearing it down and doing anything else like balancing - I'd like to but can't be bothered.
