I realise this isn't motorcycle related however.
I took my Mum 83 & Dad 88 to a family reunion yesterday at the famous Breakfast Creek Hotel.
Most of these men grew up with my family through schooling and soccer club. Most of the men have lost their parents over the years and it was lovely to see their reactions when we arrived. I think the elderly should be respected and they were this day.
Breakfast Creek is very popular and expensive place to eat and drink, however it was a special occasion.
Brekkie Creek used to be my local in 80s. Next door supplied their meat and Albion Hotel, same meat. Was 1/2 the cost at Albion, they had a huge bbq and cooked yourself. Well done on reunion. 👍
It would have been a very different experience back then Greg. It's a massive place these days. I remember Sunday sessions in the 80's hair of the dog stuff 😳🍺🍺🍺
Was good times, Brekkie, Valleys League, Brothers Union, Silks n dog track. All 5 min walk.
Aweesome :onya:
My pace of choice when catching up with mates from out of town.
