Hi all, apologies if I have missed the answer to my problem elsewhere on the forum.
I have a 2006 model with 6000 miles on the clock. It had not been run for sometime when I bought it.
So the fuel was bad and the injectors were contaminated with old fuel
I had the injectors cleaned and checked professionally and the plugs were changed as a precaution.
It was given a clean bill of health by the engineer.
The problem I have now is between 2000rpm and 3000rpm there is a hesitation, the throttle does not pick up cleanly. Its more like an on off switch and it cannot be ridden smoothly at those rpms. Below 2000rpm and above 3000rpm, it pulls like a train.
Have I got a problem, or are they all like this and is there a cure?
Cheers Pat
a few things to check, air filter, TPS and STPS, fuel pump filters, then the flux capacitor :onya:

Check your vacuum pipes too, they split with age & cause issues at the lower end of the rev range.
Are you sure it's the rev range not the throttle you're holding? I've had a few TPS fail over the years (even though they test ok) and by using the right amount of throttle I could trigger the rough running at any revs.
Agree Hooli, Exactly what TPS means, if same throttle position causing it,its only sensor for that.
Thank you all, I have a starting point. I your opinions the hesitancy I am experiencing is unusual.
