Wow Mate, huge turn up. I saw one 14, You?
Yup twas me just after the ambulance, each year it's a different charity that gets the funds,£5 a bike so should be a big donation :onya:
On the route all the lay bys and bridges are packed with spectators cheering everyone on
Reading the local paper about this ride, which has raised over £180,000 for charity in all the years it has been going, I found this in one of the comments! :furious:
Cornwall Police recommend motorcycle cruises are reported on their antisocial behavior page and can, brilliantly, use the legislation aimed at Just Stop Oil to arrest everyone attending!
'Street cruising is when a group of vehicle owners form a convoy and drive up and down a street or around a neighborhood – usually to show off their cars or bikes. They'll often drive slowly and may even take up both sides of the road.
This can hold up traffic behind and make things really difficult for other road users...talk to them calmly or leave them a polite note.
You might find it hard to believe, but they may not be aware they're causing a problem. Drivers and riders also risk injuring themselves, other road users, cyclists and pedestrians.' (Cornwall Police)
(Admin can you change the name from Mertin to Martin in the title please?)
