i did try a 180 on my old k2
no chicken strips with it as i rode of the edge  of it
it did quicken up the stearing a little
i went back to a 190 with next tyre change

Fellow1400 owner I've met a  few times at Mt Mee is running 190/55 instead of 190/50  He absolutely swears by it and says he'd never go back to the 50 profile, and that the 190/55 is the best combination he's tried. (I think he has tried 180 as well)

He's an "enthusiastic" rider....

I have tried a 180 on my speed triple a while back, it did quicken up the steering a bit but I didn't like the feel of it so went back to a 190.  I will be switching to 190/55 to see what that does one I have used up the tyres I already have.

Hey Mike, if we were running 190/55's & jack up blocks, we'd never hit our sump again + we'd have faster turn in & our speedo would be more accurate, well, yours would, I'd have to re-calibrate & set the speedo healer.

Nah I'll give the jack up blocks a miss.
