Title: Gsx1400 with r1 usd forks
Post by: Jakeofthecloud on Friday, 11 August 2023, 03:31 AM
Hi, I apologise if I'm missing a past post with this subject, I'm new to forums and gsx1400s, recently bought myself a gsx14 as i have always wanted to own one.
One catch its in boxes 😅 I wanted to to do an usd fork conversion and a guy at work had made an r1 into a quad so had no need for the forks and calipers. As they are in good condition I snapped them up for a good price! Have now ordered some custom yolks from  Billet bike bits but I want to know if anyone had any ideas on if its possible to use the gsx front wheel and disks.
With the r1 forks Reason I ask is the previous owner had the wheels podwercoated and would be a shame to have to get another front wheel
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance
