Wife told me tonight i need to start riding as much as i used to, otherwise bike will go rusty. Guess i better do that. Nothing like approval.
Bobbie rides pillion with me a lot. She regularly tells me to go solo so I can "blow the cobwebs out" If you say so babe 😈😈

I've had 2 days out this week. I'm not bothered about riding weekends, less tourists, hero's and cops here on weekdays. Mrs has weekends off but works from home in the week and looks after my pup. If I go out on a weekend pup watching is in her 2 days off.
I'm happy if I go out 2 or 3 days a week, I have too much to do here but she encourages me to ride. She works and pays the bills so I'm not going to argue!
its been great for me, a new bike and loads of great weather since I got it :grin: done Nealy 900 miles so far in the 4 weeks ive had it, quite a lot for me atm. :boogie:

That's good.
I was doing pretty high mileage for a while but since I've retired it's been a lot less as I have other priorities now.
Trying to do at least one 400K / 250 mile ride fairly regular as I do have a couple of long rides planned and need to get ride-fit again.
Winter here now, days are quite nice but the early starts I love in Summer aren't to my liking at the moment !
A while back I went down to Dubbo for a beer and Pizza with some lads I know. 945k on Saturday, same home on Sunday, That's 1,175 miles in a weekend. I'd hate to do it at the moment, so out of practice for long hauls. I'd be in agony if I tried that now!

my issue is my bloody Rheumatoid arthritis :angry: after about 30-40 miles the pain sets in, so limited to how far I can go. but lots of short trips is better than none ;)
