Only 1400AUD....bargain...
I know they would be great 👍
However I'd be concerned by the adaptor plate 🙄
Plus value for money 🙀
I'll check my lotto results
Mmmm very interesting
Actually a good price and i hope they fit better than the hel ones i brought that dont fit .
I might just send those back and get these ones .
yeah they are nice but does the 1400 need better brakes :whatever: ive had to brake hard on mine a few times in the 3 weeks ive had it and still using 2 fingers on the lever. £700 could be spent elsewhere ;)
I'd agree @hardroad, look after those 6 pots and they look after you. 2 finger braking on these just so easy. More than enough stopping power for the 1402.
I like Brembo's but for that sort of money I'd be wanting to be close to a proper radial caliper set up not using adapter plates. Got to draw the line somewhere though.
Radial mounted Brembo Stylema brakes thought! Soooooo nice.
Well maintained standard brakes are as good as any thats for sure on a standard bike.
The uprated ones are my tuned bike not really for better brakes (but they will help slow it from daft speeds) but for the looks of the bike .

Here, here Mr Seth.
My recently renewed 6 pots work well. Diavel had Brembo radials, incredible brakes.

Yeah, I have Brembo Stylema Radials on one of mine. Most radial put the 6 pots to shame, the later ones more so, with a sticky tyre and well set suspension they are awesome.
Newer are better, must be incredible. Diavel was 2011, no idea on Brembo history/models etc. All i ever thought with them, just aim at a spot, it stopped there. I went thru the get Brembo calipers, pads, brackets etc for 14, realised lots of bucks for no reason. Just did mine up, 6 pots i mean. Funny, my Mate bought one of those Scrambler Ducati things, reckons its weakest point is the brakes.Lots of other weak points in his choice i reckon.
My bmw k1300gt has brembo brakes, pulls up that big lump quite nicely, but they're linked and have abs. They are sharp, but feel a bit disconnected. I don't think a non abs system would work on that bike. I actaully prefer the 6 pots on my 1402, so much direct feel and response. Hel braided lines, a new seal kit and quality fluid, just awesome brakes.
Eric,14 brakes i like, work well. Brembos on Diavel were 5 steps up from 14. If you used two fingers, you were in a hurry to stop. Old Brembos on other Ducati, i thought then were great, harder you pulled, more you stopped. Probably change my mind if i rode one today.
