Amazing, actually had a Saturday morning with nothing that had to be done right away. Took the bike for a nice Port Hills trip, 70 odd k's of twisting hills. All very nice except for the 2 sections of new seal & loose chip!! Had to be very sedate through those & still had stones flicking up.
I wasn't in a hurry & was quite happy to bimble along, caught up to a cage doing 39K FFS! 30 fecken 9! on 'open' road. Passed them, bit later on rounded a corner & wallop, right behind a great bus! Single lane stuff & all corners, managed to whip past (knew that bit of road) with some diligent use of second gear & throttle . . ., round the next corner & a cage towing a trailer of wood FFS!
The cage pulled over at first opportunity (very nice of him) & waved me through. Still, it was nice to be back on the bike & the obstacles didn't detract (too much) from my ride.
Might have to do it again tomorrow as well! (after work though)
Hi Col,
You don't have to justify your 'Miss Daisy' driving style on here, we're all bikers at the end of the Day.
I bet the Black looked lovely with the Sun bouncing off it!
