Guys I fitted a pair of bar risers, 30mm up and 20mm back however felt that all the cables were a bit tight, and this was confirmed when I started the bike and the Fi light came on. It's giving the code C31 Gear Position Signal (GP switch). I've removed the risers but light is still on, anyone any ideas where to start looking please ??? , many thanks
I have the same risers on mine and the only issue i had was the brake line. You should be able to get enough length in the wiring by re routing it. Not sure why your F1 gear position went off though.

Forgot to say it does have the Thommo clock conversion but that's all working as it should.
Doesnt make sense Chappers, bar risers cant induce that code.I tried same once, didnt suit me,far too upright.Still there after turning off, back on? Take negative lead off batt, give a few seconds, might clear it.

I'd check the multiplugs in the headlight, you might have disturbed one pulling bits around to put the riders on
Check plugs in the headlight bowl, but also check for cuts or rubs in the wiring where it exits the bowl and along the headstock - not unknown for the wire sheathing to rub through or catch and cause an earth
Re thinking, reckon Barmy or Hooli answers correct. Stretched wiring, plug pulled out/loose or exposed a fault on insulation. All it really can be or just coincidence gps has started to play up.
