I remember from years ago someone found replacement parrs that match the camshaft postion sensor
I cant remember if it was from an outboard motor or a Japanese car/van
Any info would be great as i have a mate whos stuck and hes already spend loads rebuilding his motor
After problem over problem
Cheers
Yep, Suzuki outboards, DF40 - DF140 appear to use the same CPS (and part number) however, the outboard ones are much cheaper than a bike one?? Go figure.
Part number (for both) 33220-84G00-000
I can see them on Ebay for $25 used & $35 new. and anywhere up to USD $281 for a bike one
Thanks col thats very useful info
Search for part number J5T23283, same part for some mazda and mitsubishi cars, I bought one for my bike. Also search "c11 code" topic
I've made this a sticky as this is useful info :onya:
The one I took out was a Mazda one,I have ordered another to see if it works or could be wiring fault,I also seem to have a leaky oil cooler which is after market hell one,can they be repaired or is it new one
If its a HEL one, it can possibly be repaired - I suggest you have a word with HEL themselves though, only they can advise.

Hel are very helpful and have very good customer service people give them a call .
