GSX1400 Owners .org

Hey guys, I haven't posted here for years, I've had 2 GSX1400's in my life, a blue 2002 model and a red/black 2006. I sold my last 1400 bike 9 years ago to fund a world trip with the wife. I also regretted selling it but I spotted a 2008 model in the local classifieds and I really want it. It's done hardly any anything, 15,000k, stock bike with just a slip-on pipe. Mature owner but only a partial service history. Only issues are the usual chips on the forks which they all seem to suffer from. I'm in Australia as well so the bikes don't get salt damage:)

It's a 15 year old bike though so what should I be looking for?

I currently have a 2008 TDM 900 that my wife will make me sell even though I love this bike I really want the 1400...

Gidday Coopz, nothing special to be looking for in a low k bike like that.  2008?  Snapeys is selling his 2008 & she's a beaut.   Have an eyeball, link below.

Wow, selling a 1400 to fund a world trip, must have been a special 1400, the furthest I'd get if I solved mine would be Singapore....

Long story short, holiday was paid for but the extra money allowed a few more destinations.
