Title: RIP Jeff Beck
Post by: Eric GSX1400K3 on Friday, 13 January 2023, 04:06 PM
Vale Jeff Beck.

I've always been a 70's -80s on hard Rock and loud guitar fan, sad to hear of his demise.

Would have been a blast to have lived even 1 day in his shoes...

Yep very sad the man was a true legend acknowledged by many other famous guitarists as 'the best'

Amazing guy with the guitar, truely one of the greats.

By all accounts he was a bit of a character and often a bit of an arse. He had minders / body guards for many years as folk wanting to punch him for his obnoxious behaviour was quite common!

Interesting taste in cars....

Hi Ho Silver Lining has for many years (and still is) played just before the team enters the pitch at Wolverhampton Wanders with the sound muted at "Silver Lining" for 28,000 people to substitute "Wolverhampton". Always sent a shiver down my spine on the odd occasion I attended. He will be long remembered around here.
