Today was a few changes. Swapped garage side with Wife, almost drove into door coming home. Grandson found himself new car, he beat seller from 16g to 11. Well done i thought. Wife , 4 needle Diabetic, now has gadget stuck to her arm, no more finger pricking. results alive on her phone, alerts etc. Gotta love technology.
Another dart board diabetic here. Have been using a sensor on my arm for a while now. Yesterday went and bought a couple of new sensors, they last 14 days and cost $100 each so that keeps me going over the festive season. While there they showed me a new sensor that bluetooths to your phone and sends low blood sugar alerts and high blood sugar alerts. Will change to those when I've used these two sensors. 63 now was diagnosed when I was 24, yes Grog technology in blood glucose monitoring has come a long way.
I had a medical last week the first for probably 30 plus years, was told my blood sugar levels where OK, I was surprised with the result was expecting a different outcome :)
Waiting for treatment on my enlarged prostate ( My hospital only offered to bore a wider hole to sort it, 90% chance loss of erectile function :bugga: and 3 days in hospital. Alternative treatment ( no loss of erectile function, so not a hard decision) only available in different Health Trust but gotta get permission from mine to apply to them to do it ).
any way don't understand why my Annual PSA level test shows level going down down?
PS; nothing else enlarged, just the prostate :bugga:

That's how I read it too. I was going to say it makes a change from swapping them for camels when on holiday.

Same here, all free, insulin, needles,... Watch out for the Libre sensors cause they are slow in reacting to glucose levels, finger pricking is much faster! Just my 42 years of experience with type 1.
Jeykey, she got a monitor called Dexcom G6. So far so good.

Looks like a good one! But for me I´ll stick with the free ones over here. That´s why we discount a lot for a social security system.
