Welcome to the forum.

Hold on in there, the better weather won't be far away - even in the North West  :)

Welcome.

An Akra or Yoshi full system, PAIR blanks, a PC3 / 5, some dyno time are all popular, proven, worthwhile mods to get a more lively GSX1400.

Cams are often the next step but not cheap or common but get results.

14 isn't an easy bike to find more power compared to other bikes as it's a stand alone model and not designed for big numbers like a Bandit (GSXR) or B-King (Hayabusa) spin offs. It's smaller (and differently spaced to other models) throttle body's etc are all part of its impressive torque without big horsepower.

ECU flashing isn't popular with 14's as the ECU is quite basic and you can't unlock a heap of options and mods like more modern bikes.

A 14 with a good pipe and properly set up fueling actually feels better than the numbers would suggest, the torque helps it get up and go.

To all things 1402
As said a good exhaust system ( yoshi or akroprovic)  and set up with a power commander work really well as a start around 115bhp .
Yoshi cams around 135bhp .
Both at the wheel .
After that your into the limits if the frame, suspension and brakes.
Lots to look up and read here so go have a search .
