Title: Indicators
Post by: Stepdoug on Tuesday, 08 November 2022, 07:15 AM
Evening.
Changing the indicators on my 06 plate
From an aftermarket set back to originals
Question is ,
I know they are different length stalks and I'm assuming the longer ones are for the front?
Not got them yet but on the way depending on the post office.

Had tiny LEDs on when I bought it.
But just prefer the original size ones.
And got a full set for a very good price 😊

Each to their own  :boogie:

Have also taken of the cut down rear fender and undertray thing and put it back to full size rear fender.
Just think I want more standard.

Stepdoug,
I remember when I had my original Red/Black (Soiphie) that someone had butchered the rear fender and hacked it to death under the seat..
It was such a shite job that the underseat area was soaking wet with rain / wet road spray.
Like you I managed to get the complete fender / battery tray and replaced it.
Well done..
One definite upgrade is a DECENT LED H4 bulb..
The DECENT ones WILL pass the MOT with no problem!

Mine was pretty well done. No rain getting in at all.
Just fancied putting as much back to original as I can. But have done the LED headlight
Much better that a normal bulb. Mine have the little fan on the rear
Plenty of room inside the headlight rear section as mine at some point had twin bates on it so all the wiring is out side the headlight

Entirely depends on which LED light you get.

Cheap ebay/amazon/alibaba jobbies are shite. Way worse than OEM incandescent.
A good quality LED though is my preference too.
