Title: Crazy or Highly Skilled
Post by: froudy on Monday, 24 October 2022, 02:37 AM
Ghostrider back again with the Uppsala Run 2022....
I used to think I was a fairly spirited rider too..Not a patch on him.
He's been doing this for 20+ years now and no serious accidents.

Not sure about this and yes I used to go around at a thousand miles a hour as well - BUT! he's on public roads! Its true the faster you go the easier it is to get out of trouble quickly BUT you can get into trouble a lot faster as well. Not knowing what tyres he runs I would think any would be on the limit of functionally at those speeds. He should keep those skills to the race track. Many would riders would say he give the rest a bad name! Just say'n! :whistling:

Impressively insane with more skill than most, but a serious lack of fear.

Which one is it ?
It's pretty certain they have used different riders in different clips.

I've met Patrick who's done some of the TV / Wheelie comp stuff.

I follow Patrik on Facebook and he's been building the hype up to this ride for a few weeks now. I'd say crazy AND highly skilled and definitely fearless.

Patrick is certainly the public face of the GR publicity, but as others have pointed out unless he can grow / shrink several inches in height and lose / gain weight then there are others.

This rider is an absolute twat idiot numbskull with no brains and obviously a selfish git who cares nothing about those around them or the consequences of their actions should something go wrong...  and eventually it will go wrong..

The worst part of this is that one day they will kill themselves or at best be involved and be the cause of a whopping huge accident..  and in doing so, take some poor innocent person (mum/dad/brother/sister etc etc) with them.  Someone who was just minding their own business, trying to get to work or make it home to see their loved ones.

and as @Notty  said - twats like this give the rest of us a bad name.

Keep that sort riding on the race track..

I could see he was a tool within the first 30s, it's no wonder car drivers think all bikers are twats.
