Does anybody know the quantity of oil (ml's) between the lower and the higher oil level marks?

I usually aim to fill midway between the two marks.

I've just changed the oil and filled upto the top mark to compensate for the filter

From memory Richard its not a great deal, somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2 pint I seem to recall

Which in real money equals 150ml to 300ml

i always fill to the upper mark in the site glass
not sure how much the difference is between upper and lower marks tho.

If you can see oil level in "eye", its enough. Most turbo versions of 14 has to be kept near lower mark due to low mounted turbo.
