Title: Gauge 'buckets'
Post by: ringfeder3 on Thursday, 01 September 2022, 01:02 PM
I damaged the plastic chrome 'buckets' which contain the gauges on my 2007 gsx1400.

Is there a straight-forward technique to remove the whole assembly so they can be replaced?

Two Allen bolts under the top yoke to take the lot off or two screws in the holes in the chrome case to just remove them from the clocks.

@ringfeder3

Yes it's a straight forward job to replace the chrome housing as Hooli said, but they ain't cheap to buy!!

Shame you aren't in the UK as i have a spare, (not the chrome type these have a brushed alluminium finish.)
Just as well as these would be even dearer lol.
