It's no secret some of us have other bikes as well as a 14, Harleys, CX's in bits, Adventure bikes, Bandits, etc etc.
How about posting them up?
I often see them mentioned in other threads but how about putting them all together in here ?
A lot of 14 owners seem pretty open minded and enjoy other bikes too.
It's quite interesting what 14 owners have as an alternative or stablemate.
2009 BMW K1300GT SE. Couldn't resist, was just too good to pass up. A mighty bike, 175bhp. So far I've had the front and rear shocks rebuilt, added grip puppies, an O2 sensor / fuel mixture controller as these 1300s run way too lean, a general clean up and an led headlight upgrade.
Her stablemate is an MVAgusta Brutale 1090RR. Almost the same bike :-) Quite different technology. Lots of fun with both.
A 2007 harley vrod vrscx. Drilled original exhausts, smaller front sprocket, 250 rear tyre, quick throttle mod, air box mod, lithium battery and a fuel tuner. Next to my giant leonberger, leo, who was a year old then.
I've been through most brands and styles, but mine are all 16v, IL4, chain drive Suzuki's now.

My Triumph Speed Triple 955i is my oldest bike and probably my favourite, it's just so good to ride.
My Suzuki GSX 1400 is the next oldest.
My MZ 1000sf is so different with only 8 in the UK and half of them are on a permanent SORN.
Next up is my BMW R1200r which is probably the best real world bike, it does everything very well.
Finally my Ducati Monster 1200s, it's almost as much fun as my Speed Triple.
Only other thing I have isn't home yet

Cracking stable Mick!
I think most of you know this?
I've got a HD Sport Glide I got new in April, a Honda Hornet I adopted last year and Stroppy my old Bonnie I really must finish rebuilding.

Oi! What are you saying?! :imrgreen:
Yeah sadly a 'project bike' that hasn't been touched in 10 years....
When I got it, it looked like this:

and ran like this

I've got my trusty old 1997 CBR1000F owned it for 12yrs now, a great old bike, also a 2008 zx6r trackbike.
Jeez that CX sounds sick, my lawnmower sounds healthier than that.
A few of mine
Some nice bikes you blokes have.
Was looking at an old racing photo someone posted on fb recently. CX500 turbo mixing it in the 500 production class. They finished up putting them in the 1000cc class. They were a weapon in their day.
Here's mo other 'Bits on the side'

Had since new in 89, as I don`t race or tear arse around like a lunatic anymore it doesn`t get out much
Unfortunately now I can't claim to have "another bike" as in fact I don't have any bikes at all due to my health. I just hang around because there's a great bunch on here. I still give advice where I can and join in with the piss takes and banter :imrgreen:
My other bikes when I did have them were these two.
KTM DukeII and my modified Mk1 1200 Bandit which I built myself. I miss them all.
You Blokes make me jealous. Used to always have a few, these days just kept the best. Some perfectly brilliant bikes you have. :hat:
BMW R1200RT 2014 currently,
I've had many others over 21 years but the Suzuki is still here ✅🥇
I have now sold my K5 so my other bike is now my only bike.
1981 Suzuki GS1000G purchased new in December 1981.
Here is my 2009 GSXR750 K8
Sold by Stamford Superbikes in Lucky Strike colours, commissioned by the dealership with permission from Suzuki for licensing purposes.
Tank was signed by Schwantz at the October 2008 Staffordshire Bike Show as special guest.
I'm getting too old to ride it properly but also struggling to part with it. still in lovely condition with very low miles.

Tried to buy a GSX750ESD.
It's 95% complete but needs a couple of small jobs doing. Sadly we didn't agree on a price. I'll give him a week and ask again.
Not desperate but a GSX750ESD was my first big Suzuki a week after passing my test and I wouldn't mind another to play with. I've seen a couple with 12 Bandit motors in them.
Sorry guys, I can´t resist; these are my other rides. Just 3 years worth... All did their job just for running, no walking. (Ah, well, sold my 2004 Vespa GT200 2 years ago, nice commuter, replaced by these).

My (step)son collects those limited edition US baseball trainers. He did a thing where he did one term of his Aussie Uni degree at a college in the US. When he came home I don't think he brought any clothes, normal souvenirs, or anything home with him, other than having his suitcases and hand luggage full of baseball shoes!
Jesus, even my wife hasn't got that many shoes. :)
From scrap to great bike .... M72 from 1952

Renovated from 2008 to 2012. Driven today aprox. 16.000 km with just one major fault (broken wheen in differencial).
Amazing work. Wish i was half as clever. :hat:
Very cool, obvious BMW influences in the design, but a Soviet Era motorcycle
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dnepr_M-72
Ancestor of this bike is BMW R71. The first motorcycles were produced exactly like BMW R71. They even used the same parts. For example headlamp from Bosch etc... This is first modified version made from 1945 ut to 1945.
I had to sell my GSX1100 to buy the 14 :embarrassed: but I still have a 1979 XS1100

Thanks. Yeah, they work OK. Older hubs laced with wider 18" rims, they take early 80's size GSXR tyres now.
