My nearest bike shop had one in stock and offered me a demo ride, I haven't yet.
I know a few folk in the UK who have put some miles on them. Most say they were impressed. Not for me but like Rocket 3's, H2's etc I'm glad there's still some odd balls and alternative stuff out there.
Certainly not just yet another same-as bike.
I must see if it's still there and if the demo ride offer still stands...

Had a close up look at one last week, lots of shit going on there, that it apparently works very well is pretty bloody impressive engineering wise
Only person I know to have ridden one says it gets very interesting* if you lean it over far enough to lift the outside front wheel. Not only do you get a sudden loss of grip but the two wheels remaining on the floor aren't inline so it doesn't want to track properly.
A guy I know (Ben Shaw) has made and sold quite a few turbo kits for the MT09. It didn't take long until one ended up on a Niken.

Yep another case of WTF were they thinking 🤔
I have absolutely no interest in owning one, but like the old production turbo's, the H2R, Honda's RC213V, the rotary engined bikes, straight 6 CBX/Z13/Benelli, huge Goldwings, B-King, Rocket 111's and a few others it's nice to see something different.
It's just a shame that Suzuki who once took big steps forward with new GSX's, GSXR's, the 14, Busa, B-King have hardly done anything genuinely new or interesting in the last 15 years. At least Yam, Kwak and a few others have a go.
Strange they do with cars. Jimny, Kizashi, Swift Sport. All a bit different and good for intended market.
The Jimny was hardly new. They just nailed coil springs under a SJ and filed the corners off
Exactly what LR did to a series to make 90/110s 30 years earlier.
Public dont know that Hooli, they love it, impossible to get a new one, all sold out. Exactly like a bike they need to make.
I've seen one being ridden locally. What a total abomination of a contraption :rofl2:

When I was into 4x4s a few people got them as a modern SJ, bloody brilliant off road as they are so light
