Thinking of updating to a lower milage bike Notty ?
You could always pop it in Froudys shed for laters.
:smitten:
Nice example, amazes me that these are still around and in that condition. Would worry me that sitting unridden for so long that all rubbers and bearings would be less than optimal .
I don't think whoever buys that will ride it anyway.

Really..... I was thinking of welding a sidecar to it

It looks like it may have already had a sidecar bolted to it, some strange additional bracket been left on the LHS exhaust hanger? either that or stabilisers!
Personally, i think its a waste of a good bike. Have told b4, bloke up the road has CBX with 87ks, has it built into a coffee table in his lounge. Imagine how bad those all original fluids are.
Training wheels Will?

Agree mate these biked need to be ridden to be really appreciated.
Chap I know has his old TZ750 as a coffee table.
Interesting if you look up its MOT history:
- Logbook last issued 14th June 2018 - so if it's had 2 owners previously, neither clearly used it! First owner had it for just over 15 years!
- currently SORN'd - last MOT expired on 24/8/19 - so it hasn't been used (hasn't been on the road for almost 3 years!)
- I notice the clock reads 1:00, so possibly the battery may have seen better days
- are those really Battlax 020's still on it? Good grief!
Why would someone leave that butt ugly bracket on the rear LH hanger? Especially if you are selling it as an "incredible example" - not sure about that
Also look at the wear on those front disks - bit scored for such a low mileage machine
And its not immaculate either - if you look at the front RH fork slider it looks like it has have corrosion on it - odd for such a low mileage machine?
Nor is it 100% genuine - oil cooler grill is non-standard. I mean...
As for the price - well that's just plain eye watering......

That's one expensive coffee table Col. Even a TZ750 in shit condition will bring AU$65000+
One of my neighbours has an original R7 Superbike. Brand new, in the crate. One of only 500 made in 1999. He gets comments about "pointless, needs to be ridden", but he has plenty of other bikes, some better. It's just part of his collection and has climbed in value so he's not bothered. It's something he's happy owning and most of the haters couldn't afford it anyway.
Mint unused bikes is always controversial, but I'm glad there are a few original ones saved. There's plenty of other bikes to use. Someone saving one unused isn't really doing any harm. It might not be my thing but each to their own.
