Title: Hello
Post by: Chopper on Friday, 18 March 2022, 09:39 AM
Hi I joined before xmas but am only introducing myself now lol, but have been reading all about 1400s on here as I brought a k6 blue and white one about the time I joined.
Loving the bike but alot different from my usual pleasure ride a Harley fat boy.
It has a 4 into 2 conversion with blue flame end cans which sound awesome.
Runs perfect so far with 23000 miles on the clock .
Anyway just thought I'd  say hi  and happy biking the warm weather is coming  😁

Gidday Chopper & welcome to the forum.  23,000 isn't much at all.  Yeah, it would be a wee bit different to the HD.  Bung some pic's up when you get a chance, you can even put up pics of the HD if you want, all welcome here.

Morning Chopper.

B&W are the fastest so good choice there. As said it's barely run in either, put another 140k on it and it'll still be as good.

Nice stable mate too, I got a Sport Glide recently myself. They make a good mix to pick from depending on your mood.

I've owned my GSX almost 21 years and my mood hasn't fluctuated in that time.
That's not to say that I haven't owned & ridden other bikes.  :stir:

Thanks for all the kind and funny words ,two completely different bikes one goes round corners and stops one needs some forward planning going round corners and stopping all part of the fun lol.
I live in Essex went for a little ride on the suzi today out to dunmow takley back through to ongar then up through  chelmsford.
Colder than I thought should have worn my heated jacket  Haha.
Frinton yesterday on the fatboy with my heated jacket and gloves much more cosy.
Good rides though  still getting to know the 1400 ,least its quicker dodging puddles .
How do you get the emojis to work I click on them and a word comes up
