Title: OCD Cleaning
Post by: Monarchjock on Friday, 03 March 2017, 10:17 PM
Hey Guys. I've found one part that is easily polished and less affected by the elements so should last a while but you have to be really OCD ( aka Gsxbarmy) coz no one can see it.

The bracket under the seat that the tank bolts on to. Anyone tried it?

Lowers voice.

" I have".  :whistling:

Are there any other parts like this?

How about the inside of the headlight?  The outside is nice & shiny, surely the inside deserves to be shiny too?  :rofl2:

Mirror polish the sump, then place a mirror underneath so you can see every detail under your bike.

(and yes I did.......)

I also treated the frame under the tank and the coil brackets to a nice coat of Megs 4 times a years....

Sad............oh so sad.................

Holy shit!  You had it bad aye Dave.  Just as well you've gone to the Trumpet, you'd have worn your pinkies to the bone just keeping everything shiny on the Barmy Bike.

Yep! After doing the Wild Atlantic Way and getting it minging, I actually realised I had gone too far. The Trumpet with its 30 minute jetwash and dry is now perfect. No bling. Ever. Period..................(till the next time  :rofl2:)
