Just a quick question for anyone in the know , I need a new visor for my helmet , it has a pinlock attached to the inside . A, can the pinlock be removed and used again?. B, no you've got to get a new one. Thanks tally. :confused1:
A.
Just flex the visor flatter & you'll be able to unhook the pinlock from the retaining pins. I'd keep the pins from the old visor too, they are always handy in case one snaps.
If you're fitting it to the new visor, do the same to attach it & then check it's fully seated around the edge so it's sealed. The pins have a eccentric lip where the pinlock sits so turning the pins adjusts the gap between them, which will squash the pinlock down against the visor better if needed.
Cheers hooli you're a star :onya:
Just YouTube it MCN have plenty of info about it 👍
Tally try to only touch the edges as I've found pinlock visors easy to scratch.
