Finally managed to sign up, looks like an interesting place! Hope to pick up some good info.
Been riding since about 1990 when I was 25 years old, got my opens in 1994 and moved up from a modified old '81 Kawasaki KH-125, and bought a 1974 Kawasaki H2-750 Mach IV two stroke triple...the legendary widow-maker.Yeah...wasn't that a steep learning curve. I still have this awesome bike and it's never getting sold.
Had a few other bikes over the years...a 1984 BMW R65, a 1981 Z1000J, a Suzuki VL800 Volusia cruiser, then bought my end of '07 GSX1400 back around 2010. And christ, what a bike it is...great power, a real mile eater, capable of doing all sorts of stuff from commuting to cruising.
I also have a little 1964 Vespa 50/N Sport...interestingly enough I clean-swapped the Z1000J for it, purely out of sentimental value. My late father had a little Vespa of the same model in the mid-1960's when I was a baby.
Looking forward to checking out the forum and seeing what's going on!
Hello and welcome. Nice little collection there ! Love those old H2's !
One of the senior execs here at work just sold his H2.... I told him he'll regret that !
I certainly regret it because I wasn't the buyer !

Everyone should ride a scooter at least once...I mean if they're cool enough for Deadpool....
Welcome Mr Wombat.
I had a Z1000J myself for a while and although I never loved it like some of my bikes I don't think I would have swapped it for a scooter!
Things seemed very "clan-ish" in the UK in the early eighties, you were either a biker or a pseudo Mod, no one would dare to have a foot in both camps.....
Hi Wambat and welcome
great looking bikes, could you send me the H2 i could always find room for that one, my first and last H2 never when back on the road and it cost me a year off work and 3 months in hospital.but still have a soft spot for them.
