Not sure if anyone had one of these fuckers. Front gum below nose, no food, no sleep 3 days. Worst pain of my life. All solved this arvo, Dentist a mean man, Scottish, but drained n fixed. Hope you never experience same.
Wishing you a speedy recovery Grog.
I feel for ya mate, unfortunately I'm familiar with these, had a couple. It'll come right now after being drained, got you on antibiotics as well I'd assume.
good luck
@grog as said these are horrible things, but now you've had it sorted all should be good soon :onya:
effin no pain like it mate - good luck - antibiotic and nae beer
Ouch hopefully that's you all sorted now and on the mend .
All the best mate.
@grog you make it sounds glamorous :happy1: but I'm still not keen...
So much better today, pain free. Was until i put garbage bins out, stung on ear by wasp. Doesnt that wreck your day. Once had one in bike jacket, maybe 40 stings, that really wrecks your day.
Mrs F said "f*ck off" Grog :rofl2:....
She's got the same and going to see her butcher..I mean dentist this afternoon at 15.00 and she's not looking forward to it apart from getting rid of the pain and swelling. She looks like a hamster with one cheek full of food :imrgreen:
I've got two crowns and they're both starting to niggle a bit. Due to the dreaded virus I haven't seen my dentist for over two years now. I hate dentists and I'm not looking forward to my impending visit one bit.
I got hit in the face and stung by a bee just under my left eye when riding one day with my visor open many years ago..That was an interesting if not scary moment trying to stop the bike and remove the sting.

I got five or six stings on my chest and stomach once when one got down my t-shirt (inside my bike jacket) while riding. That was quite off putting trying to concentrate on the riding as I stopped.
Froudy, tell her instant relief, well worth anything they do or charge. My bill $150, usually $400. Good when Daughter the Boss.

Poor bastard grog, they say bad luck comes in threes, hope fully the toilet seat doesn't fall down next time you're having a wizz.
Had a bee sting just below my eye once, bugger managed to get in between gap in visor and chin guard, I was riding g with it just cracked open. Was interesting getting the helmet off my swollen eye socket. Also had one down the back of my neck riding with jacket too far open. Couldn't stop the bike quick enough...
Try harder!
When I was with MadMoth (old ORGsters will remember) she managed to get a bug up her nose while riding in a full face lid & ended up asleep for near 24hrs in Prague after massive emergency antibiotics because the damn thing was stuck & rotting in her sinus. That had some impressive swelling around her cheek & eye socket.
This photo is years old now. I felt something smack my leather jacket as I was riding.
This monster fell out and onto the kitchen floor when I got home and took my jacket off
PS..Mrs F is at the dentist right now hopefully getting sorted out.
I assume that's the silly french side of the ruler? looks it as it's in tenths. That thing would be huge if that was inches.

Yes, sorry. It's the silly French side :rofl2:
It's just a squeek under 1 1/4 inches in English/Aus/NZ money ;)
Aus & NZ use metric, have done since 1967, well that was when the money changed anyway.
Its why I never use an open face helmet......
Only a loon rides a 14 in an open face lid :stir: :whistling:
Someone i know used open face for 48 years. Never a problem. 2020 a flip up came along. Open faces now just sit around. :whistling:
I know a fool who went from flip fronts to an open face & does a silly amount of miles like that :whistling:
Nothing else to say Hooli, great photo.
