Title: Hello all from Hampshire U.K.
Post by: Stumblebum on Saturday, 22 January 2022, 04:43 AM
Hello one and all, new to the site and will be picking up a K2 mid week. I'll try and pop a photo or two up and ask if it was a members old bike from here considering the oil cooler cover! If it is a members previous bike do you have any more info on what has been done to it please? Many thanks.

I had those engine bars on my k5 and hated them as I kept hitting my shin off them .
Changed to r&g crash buttons .
Other than that this bike is a lovely k2

If you need ntend to ride it around bends rather getting off to push it round then throw those engine bars as far over the hedge as you can.

Oh and  'ello.

Thank you all for the welcomes, part of the sales description was this:

The bike comes with a fresh service from ourselves here at Moore Speed Racing, and is fitted with tonnes of custom additions, including:

Billet Shorty Levers
Blue Fly Screen
Mini Indicators
Akrapovic Titanium Full System
Renthal Black Handlebars
White Undertray
New headstock Bearings
Progressive Hyperpro Fork Springs & Shock Springs
New Oil & Filter
New Wheel Bearings
Powdercoated Wheels
Braking Wavy Discs

And yes, those crash bars will need to grow wings! Don't like the things, my other bike came with some and they were ripped straight off and duly given a good drubbing!

Thanks all for the welcomes! It will go even better when I go and pick it up, three friends also have 1400's and they have a really good Spondon performance remap for it if I can get hold of a power commander 3.

If you scrape those engine bars around a bend Hooli, you need to start praying `cause you`re already off.... :rofl2:

I did once & I was nearly off, the pegs never touched down either. Hence my comment warning them about it. I got back from that trip & sold the bars on the old ORG.
