Just been informed by my daughter that Meat Loaf has died at the age of 74. Very sad, loved his stuff
Me also. Over produced, but very good. Dash Board Lights, what a song. Ellen Foley back up female, so good.
Just seen it on the news, liked most of his stuff R.I.P.
RIP Mr. Loaf. Awesome performer and fantastic songs. I will never forget his appearance on Hey Hey its Saturday, was hilarious with Dicky Knee

Sad news saw him in the 80's
Brilliant.
Another icon away :cry2:
Same here
@seth I had the privilege to see him in the Apollo and Bat out of hell must be on my play list at least once a week
Man had his highs and lows but sadly missed
RIP big fella
Yep evidently he gone, gone, gone!
RIP Meat!
In the 90's my brother was sent on a job to film the band opening for Meatloaf. He was directed to the mixing booth in front of the stage. He dragged all his gear there and when he got into the booth there was Meatloaf. They chatted and he said if you have an xyz ? cable you can plug straight into the board. Brother said he was a top bloke that also knew the techy side of his business.
Apparently was a competent sailor too.
Growing up his music was always popular in my circle of friends. I still have my drink stained Bat out of Hell album, along with the fond memories of those great times.
Rest in peace big guy.
His music was great but I guess heaven couldn't wait.
Very sad RIP, however someone is making money from his passing at least two new entries into the UK charts yesterday and the countdown was only on No 30 when I left the garage & switched the radio off, so possibly more within the top 30 :whatever:
