Missing inner plates in kit. By the way, in download section is dwg drawings for burning. That will cost few bucks.
Looks a nice kit Gaz, there is also this as an option as well (I had these fitted on my 14)

I assume you've seen the instructions as to how to fit... :whistling:

Neither the kit you've picked out or the one I mention above come with blanking plates to go under the covers. Your best approach for that in all honesty is to take out the reeds as they are at the moment, unscrew the actual reeds themselves (they look like springs) and then put the plates back. Stops them whistling then when you fit the kit.
Or as Vici say - the drawing for cutting blanks are in the downloads section :onya:
Thanks guys.
Barmy, I had read that post thanks mate......although if I'd read it a bit more closely I would of realised I still need the plate to replace the reed plates
However if just unscrewing the reeds works I will go for it I reckon.

i fitted a kit like this maybe 9 years ago
i just remover the reed valves and refitted the reedvalve holders with a smear of sealer and the cover plates
never had a problem with this set up tho it might be slightly more noisy but i cant tell due to pod filters and stubby exhuast can
:wheelie:
