Hello everyone
I'm new to the gsx, in fact it's been years since I had a road bike, my other bike is a drz400 which I've had for years and I love it to bits
I was given the gsx1400 from my dad who inherited it, it was a lot different from what I'm used to but I've wanted one for15- 20 years but after 6 months I was out on her when a 4x4 pulling a horse trailer pulled out in front of me which I hit square on the side
My bike he's just been written off from the insurers so I have bought another frame for it with reg documents but I'm still in need of a few parts, this is why I'm on here
I know owners clubs are great for information and finding parts
I'm looking for a set of clocks and a fuel tank to start with, if anyone can help :1400spray: :1400spray:
ADMIN UPDATE: The bike that was damaged was a 2003 k3 model and the replacement frame acquired is from a 2001 k2 model
Gidday Andy & welcome to the forum. It'd help if folk knew where you're situated. Think you might be in UK.
Good luck with the resto, lots of knowledge here, just ask or browse.
Welcome Andy
Welcome Andy!
Welcome Mate. That smash doesnt sound fun.
Welcome to the forum Andypetz01. :onya: Good luck with the repairs.
Welcome mate, hope you get it sorted.
Good luck! you've more chance of finding rocking horse manure than clocks.
:welcome1:
To all things 1402 .
As already said good luck getting the bike sorted out .
It would help if you said where you was and what year your bike is .
Firstly

Second - glad that accident didn't bite YOU too bad.
Unfortunately the two items you mentioned - esp the clocks - are probably the two hardest bits to find. So patience is a virtue but if you come across any good ones don't hesitate for too long.
I have no idea what a fair price would be for those parts.
Sellers market I guess.

Maybe I've found a rocking horse farm

Andy, there you go. Eric has kicked a goal. Postage will cost but theres your parts. Id be contacting, getting a quote.
That ad is old. I contacted him some time ago about parts and he didn't have what I wanted and seems to have SFA, but keeps that ad going.

Found a set of clock cases (no internals though) on e-bay courtesy of aliexpress for £25.21 if that helps.
Found two tanks also, but looked damaged though.
Oh talking clocks K2-K4 are different to K5 onwards as the bit shaped to fit around the lock changed when the K5 got the immobiliser.
