Title: Labour weekend in NZ
Post by: KiwiCol on Wednesday, 27 October 2021, 05:07 PM
Last weekend was Labour weekend, we get the Monday off.  We went to Kaikoura, as usual, took the boat & did some fishing in awesome calm waters. Got some nice Blue Cod too.  Couple of pic's on the way out on Sunday & a couple when we got back to the slipway.

Cracker day in Kaikoura, don't come like this too often.

Yeah, would be, but 22 - 23 at sea level, just nice.

Permanent snow on mountains is it ? Which mountain range is it ? @KiwiCol

Not really permanent snow, perhaps some at the very highest peaks in summer, but mostly goes away.  That's the Inland Kaikoura range with the snow, the seaward range is lower & has less snow on them at this time of year.
