Getting a little nippy in shed last night so gave my central heating a run was still on the rise.
Centrally heated shed
@Irish in Oz  you're spolied :stir: :stir:
Upgraded the single radiator to double.
Climate ruiner  ......what happened to the extra Cardy and wooly gloves ??
Still use them when I go out plus a beanie.
No Winter here Irish. Terrible today. 35 in Landsborough with101 per cent humidity. Not even nice on bike. Flogged her coming home, not even 70 on temp gauge, checked with infra red, amazing motor/cooling system.
Shortest day of the year here tomorrow it's downhill from there to spring

What is this work you speak of Col ?? hahahaha I retired at 56 !! (now 72).
Well, it's not really work, I just turn up & they pay me to be there . . . or so I'd wish.
I refer to my wages as an 'attendance allowance' and then say I'm not paid enough to work as well as turn up. It seems to annoy my useless fat boss for some reason? :whatever:
Col, mine similar, not hard mostly, 31 yrs January. Keeps me fit, reckon ill go another 4 to 6 yrs. Mates same age have long retired, they go to exercise classes to keep fit, rather keep on.
Good on you grog :onya:
I took early retirement with a significant pay-off and great pension around 7yrs ago after 39yrs. Spent 6 months fishing; riding the bike; catching up on DIY etc, but as my wife is still working and I felt I still had more to offer, I started my own little business to keep me busy. Now I work 2/3 days per week to suit myself. Luv it. I`ll give it another couple of years at which time we can both fully retire. Magic!
Rule of thumb - never retire too early while you can still enjoy giving what you can
Typically here in mid winter the two weeks in August everyone wishes it was warmer. Then like today its going to be 30deg with 65% humidity, luckily there is a breeze albeit warm. We all wish it was cooler :P
