Title: Gsx1400 yoke stem length
Post by: Banditowner1200 on Tuesday, 28 September 2021, 06:16 PM
Hi all, I'm after the measurements for the 1400 gsx yoke stem length please. I'm after swapping the gsx1400 front end to a bandit1200 mk1.
As I understand the bandit mk1 yoke stem lentgh is 280mm overall lentgh and need to know the gsx stem lentgh. Cheers

@Banditowner1200 given this is your first post, it would be appreciated if you would kindly introduce yourself to the forum https://gsx1400owners.org/forum/index.php?board=20.0 Thanks
Also - we do like following builds, so if you are inclined and fancy starting a separate thread following your build, I'm sure we'd all enjoy it!
Thanks - ADMIN

Ahh I remember that post and pick yeah dude. What's the lentgh for the steering stem tho....I'm not entirely sure of its longer then the bandit 1200 one. As I understand the bearings are the same ro it fit directly but allover I'm not sure of length of the steering stem...whether it be too long or not and if its too long weather it need to be shorten down or not?
Then got to worry about the the little metal bits for the full lock on the bottom yoke
