Title: New Apprentice
Post by: grog on Wednesday, 04 August 2021, 07:41 PM
About 8 months ago had new kid start at work. First time i spoke to him, answer was, what would you know , stupid old prick. He was kicked out of school, just doesnt fit in,cant cope, uncontrolable. I kept at him, bought him the occasional sausage roll, gave him some old stories about my stupid bike adventures. He started to ask about more stories, i watched his videos of weekend car antics, kids doing burnouts etc. Today, together we had a really hard to do car fix. I got called away, when i came back he had persevered, finished it with perfect result. Makes an old mans heart feel good. Real good actually. I reckon hell grow up a great person.

Kiwi, funnily enough, one 6mm left over. I questioned about that, got the in my face answer, he hates me when i twist his nose. Turned out a spare delivered on part. Dont ever fit an alternator to a v6 Lexus, just so difficult. No room.

I'd have just told him to fuck off - but you have probably made a real positive difference to his life.
Well done you !  :clapping:
