Lovely part of the world.

Do you have any issues getting parts/repairs for the 1400 in north america?

We have been experiencing unprecedented Heat here in BC - up to 48C - our ride averaged about 38C - gallons of fluids all day even with vented riding gear!
I am careful that dehydration as one doesn't realise that the sweat is 'blown' off - the helmet is the worse even with all the vents open.

Bugs are always an issue - constant cleaning of the visor is requirement. First order of the day once in the hotel/motel is to cold shower the beer!!
I'm sure you guys are well acquainted with all of the above!. When working in the Arctic we had Mossies the size of B52 Bombers - well slight exaggeration!!

In spite of all that - it make for good conversation for the evening meal! Good bunch of guys!!
