Title: Lowering the suspension
Post by: Reno on Monday, 12 July 2021, 10:14 PM
I have a 2002 GSX 1400. The bike is too tall for me as im quite short. Is there a suspension lowering kit and or a tailored lowered seat for this model bike?? thanks in advance, UK based.

Someone like Grizzley Adams can redo the seat. Lowering wise shorter rear shocks & drop the yokes down the forks.

I bought shortened Hagon Nitros and got a lowered seat - I can stand flat footed  :)

Xjr shocks fit and are 20mm shorter than standard .
Not real ohlins but are ok .
You might be better buying new slightly shorter hagons or yss shocks .
Forks maybe 10mm max through the yokes.
