Hi Chaps, I was going to start my rear brake refurb this weekend BUT a minor accident at work has put a hold on it for this week, I've trapped my foot between a pallet and a large electric pallet truck resulting in a broken big toe. I can hardly walk on it so I've put things back a week... On the bright side, I've just ordered a brand new "BIG BLUE BIKE LIFT" from the company in Tamworth u.k and it will be delivered on Tuesday which will make life easier in the garage and no more lying on the floor (I'm getting old). Once the bike is up in the air I will be dropping both wheels and replacing all the wheel bearings as I think they will be in need of it, the swing arm will be coming off and the bearings changed out creating peace of mind that the bike will have had all this work done. I was planning on doing the head stock bearings but they seam fine with no sticking or notching so I'll just leave them alone for this year as I still need to start the GS750 project yet. T.T.T
TTT, bugger. Hope that toe heals. Mine still hurts after trying to cut it off, gotten used to it.
Our neighbour in the the UK had both his big toes run over by an excavator. Had to learn to walk again poor bugger. Hope you come good quickly Tony.
Ouch, bet that hurts - last year I badly bruised my two outer toes on my left foot as well as my big toe joint. Surprisingly they healed fairly quickly - ice is your friend if it stings!
Hope you heal soon TTT
NO Steelcaps then
@Tonythetiger :doh: :doh: :facepalm:
I had my steel caps on but my toes got bent right back on them self, back to work today with a limp but walking haha. I've ordered a brand new bike lift to help me in the garage called "the big blue bike lift" which will save me crawling around on the floor. Thanks for the replies chaps.
