Evening all :)
Been lurking in the background but thought it was time to introduce myself and the 1400. This is my second 1400, the first didn't fair to well after an accident (3 years ago)
Although she doesn't look quite as well at the moment due to a broken and poorly repaired down pipe bolt which resulted in me removing the engine, stripping the bike and getting the frame powdercoated.

Craig judging by those boxes in the background you must drink more coffee than me !
Or they are a different kind of filter,
or you live in Louth.

Hi Froudy.
I ended up going down the same route, picked frame and few bits up from the powder coaters at the weekend.
The engine is a right lump and definitely a two man lift off the floor

Hi and welcome

The top pic is before and the bottom one is after engine removal. There was a poorly done job at repairing a snapped header bolt and i was far easier to remove the lump of an engine and repair it properly whilst on the bench, I ended up fitting time serts to all 8 bolt holes.
Its amazing how little space the bike takes up when completely stipped
