While i was riding last night, a friend pointed out that my tail light was wobbling about. Looks like it is held on with 4nr screws.... i had a quick look last night, and at least one is missing.
does anyone know what size these screws are? and do you need to drop the underseat tray to get access to them? they look quite tight in the corner there.
Thanks in advance.
I don't believe you need to drop the tray, should be accessible from inside under the seat. I will check for you. As to screw size, not sure.
If you remove the rear cover 2 bolts and 4 quick release fasteners you will see all the fixings for the rear light.
I had the rear mounting bolts for the rear mudguard come lose in the past that makes the whole backend lose including the light .
Good luck
Thanks for all your help with this one. I removed the rear cowl easily, and found both the screws on right were missing, and the other two were odd screws, by the looks of it. I ended up buying some M5 X 12mm button head screws and split washers, which worked perfectly.
Thanks again!
