Title: LS2 Helmets - anyone tried one?
Post by: VladTepes on Monday, 27 February 2017, 06:33 AM
My Ducati riding mate has one of these
https://www.amawarehouse.com.au/road/helmets/flip/ls2-f324-metro-rapid-flip-helmet.html

Flip front, dual visor, relatively light.
He loves it and reckons at $300 it's a bargain - less  than half the cost, for example, of a GT-Air.

I haven't tried one on myself yet but was wondering if anyone owns an LS2 helmet and has comments, or can offer an opinion either way.

Cheers.

Had an LS2 before my GT AIR  i thought the liner got a bit loose and twice i found it undone. I think the clasp had caught on my jacket collar. Internal visor mechanism broke. Yep cheep but you get what you pay for.

ls2 are chinese, been around for 13 yrs. helmet i wear is taiwanese, no probs at all, on my second one. gets good wraps in safety. i know a lot will dis agree on my choice. it fits and feels great. 800 shoei sits in cupboard, terrible helmet, a waste of money. feels just awful and was fitted. noisy and no side vision. agv also i have, so heavy and fussy to use. if you like the feel of ls2 Vlad, get one. my THH is a winner, 2 yrs old, still like new. quiet n comfy, dual visor. brand names just suck your money. my opinion only.
