Went out for lunch today. No questions asked, just handed me the Seniors menu. Didnt even ask to see my Seniors card. 😂 So how do i adjust the TPS on my mobility scooter?
Time to join the Old Bastards Club, though I think a member has to nominate you.
The father in law was a member, but he's gone to God now.
Mate, I dont need a club to be an old bastard, often gets said to me.
I like getting the pensioners menu, it's almost the same size meal & way cheaper, more left for beer!

Like I say to people I can't get lost everyone tells me where to go.
SFC, thats funny. Young blokes i get on well with, they know everything until they dont. They do appreciate our old knowledge, yesterday, youngest at work, didnt know he had to set timing on his mid 80s Honda car. Telling me how slow it is, I showed/adjusted it for him. Test drove, came back raving. Called me a God. They just expect, dont read or understand how stuff works. Very sad i reckon, when i was his age i read everything. Went to bed with books/tests on every bike/car. Ask me how fast a bike was over 1/4 mile, i could answer. Still remember that shit. Theyre missing out
@grog just admit it your past it .
Just like the rest of us  lol
You guys are lucky.. i have to work for more then 20 years till retirement
I had to set the ignition timing on my Kawasaki KZ400 which has points ignition.
Haven't touched points for over 40 years.
No timing light in the tool kit. Mate used old analogue radio to set the points. Bike started on the button.
Old mechanics trick apparently.
My 87yo dad hates old people. "Dad those old duffers you moan about are younger than you !!"
At the supermarket checkout l get for my asked for my card. Don't mind so much now but l've been getting asked for the last 10 years
