Fuck me that's ugly!

It's also not a 14, it's just a 14 lump in a new bike. Makes as much sense as selling a Catherham as a Cortina because it's got a Pinto.

Just an ugly frame with a brilliant motor.

Just an ugly frame with a brilliant motor.

Couldn't agree more Grog.

My take on an alternative frame would be the XR69!

Johno, i agree with you. Back in dinosaur years we used to drool on Harris frames for CB750 and Kawa 9s. Just wanted to make them go around corners, they sure didnt standard. Honda was better than buck jumping Kawa. Not sure if next story correct or true. Someone will enlighten. Couple of years ago, went to a job. Ford Transit van with a few bikes in back. Pommy bloke, told him i like bikes, got talking. He told me he started Harris frames, was his business. No idea if true, now lives in Qld.

Grog,

The Harris brothers, Steve and Lester, were special guests at the Island Classic a few years back. There were 14 Harris framed machines competing in the International Series and I bought a hospitality package that included interviews and a Q&A with riders and guests. Alan Cathcart conducted the interviews. Steve and Lester were a great double act and very informative and entertaining.

Over the years interviews included legends Giacomo Agostini, Paul Smart and Colin Edwards. Paul Smart was an interesting character and is married to Barry Sheene's sister Maggie.
