Just a true story. My Mate has a 2020 Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer, poor bugger. They cost lots, they come with one front disc! Telling me brakes are crap. So many stories on there site about warped discs, lever pulsation, lack of brake power. Just not good. Ducati wont fix under warranty, consumable item, even with 3k on speedo. OK, i thought there must be an upgrade, is for 14. There is. It only costs $3400. What a major stuff up. No other way of fixing. Sure makes a upgrade on ours, which are already superior, much cheaper/easier. Monobloc upgrade way under $1000 inc master cylinder. Just keep my 14 👍
I've Got A Ducati Monster 1200 which had warped disks at 6000 miles and it was over 2 years old but they were replaced under warranty, sound like his dealer just can't be arsed to try.
mj, i read worldwide comments, no dealers interested, he posted to Ducati, they rang him but wont replace. He asked Ducati, why did you ring, just a consumer call to make him feel better. WTF.
Clearly not fit for purpose
Perhaps register a claim with the small claims tribunal and issue the dealer with a lawyers letter , followed up by contacting a tv news show and threaten to take it public.
you'd be amazed how fast the dealer will react to that, as that will impact sales and their image, worth more than 3400 im sure.
