Hi, I bought one of these for my bike but there are 4 straps 2 low down on each side of the cover as per the attached picture. I'm not at all sure what they are used for. Can anyone help please.

Hi
I have the same cover, the four straps/clips on the sides fit over the bottom lip of the fuel tank, the strap at the back goes around the two prongs on the back tank support and the front strap goes under the headstock
Just remember to make sure you fasten and secure the front one before running the bike, I forgot after removing the cover on one occassion and the strap melted on the exhaust header - all sorted now though
Thanks Will that makes sense I was guessing at all sorts of things but not that.
If you adjust the 4 side straps and the front a little bit to keep the filler cap hole round your doing ok .
Also I know we haven't had many but try to fit in a warm sunny day as they are much more plyable then .
Not sure i understand why tank cover needed? For touring with tank bag?
That's it
@grog it's a cover that has clips on for the tank bag to fit too. It tends to scratch the tank a lot less than normal tank bags.
