So after years of super sports bikes I worked with a lad that could not see past his 1400 and said I would not regret getting one as I was looking for an upright bike. I was a fan of the CB1300 as the 1400 was pricy, no where near what I have seen the prices go to this year. I got a 1400 after looking for a few months at the bottom end of the reasonable price range. It was a bit tired but I do love giving it a go fixing bits. It has a few miles on it 43k and its a k2 ,Y plate. A few expensive bits to fix but I will look out for the ebay bargains or not depending on the part.
So hello and I look forward to reading the forum info.

There will be a Scottish meet-up at Some point over the summer as soon as things are opened up enough for all to travel .
Evening, 43k is barely run-in for these. Mine's got almost four times that & was still riding well till I crashed it
Mine is 145,000 km's and the mechanic said if it every makes any noise they'll need adjusting. I heard a noise and apparently it was the chain adjuster had seized, so lubed it up and no noise ever. I'd be surprised if anyone who's owned one for any time has done it more than once. :stir: :stir: :stir:
