Hey grog , I've got a Yoshi slipon with a ding in the back. Otherwise VGC.
The Stealership let my bike fall off stand and replaced with new slipon.
Your are welcome to have it free.
Can't really notice it unless you go looking for it.
At least you can try it to see if maybe it suits you.
Pretty sure you have my number if not message me.

You´re a lucky man grog ! Good on you BJ. Anyway, I have the same question as grog, want to go for a new can. Any difference with the Yoshi ?

I've had a locally made (i.e. Brisbane) PIPEMASTER stainless muffler which Peter fitted to my Yoshi 4-1 headers in 2007. It gave the bike 5 more HP. Still looks good and is easy as to clean. I've had him repack it a few times to keep within noise tolerances.  :onya: :onya:

GSX, agree on Pipemasters. Back in 80s they made me a full system for my GS1000. Cans were based on Conti, i had a Ducati then, 4 into 2, perfect quality. Still think was one of the best 4 cylinder bikes ive heard. As for my gift from BJ, totally in awe of your generosity. Picked it up this arvo, total thanks Mate. Your collection amazing.  :clapping: :boogie:

You're welcome Grog.
I bought my bike with a Yoshi on it - therefore not in a position to tell any difference.
I put an OEM on for a while. Was battling with rough running  off throttle.
I actually preferred running the OEM as I like quiet bikes but that thing is HUGE so I put the Yoshi back on once I got the rough running sorted. Problem was dirty injectors.

Col, thought it was Yoshi bracket, looked again. Think someone has made a super heavy duty version. Mine will just be mounted on one side, should be ok. Have had similar b4.

Why dont you remove the centre stand altogether Grog? Ive still got mine hanging on the wall in the shed, prefer the side  stand,  and for maintenance i use the RJays rear stand picking up the swingarm just forward and either side of the axle nut.

Hey Grog, come to think of it I have a couple of those fittings in a box here.
If you need one give me a yell. I'm pretty sure they had something to do with the centre stand - which I don't have on my bike.

Today wasted. Spent all day stuffing around trying to make brackets up for centrestand to rest against. Have accomplished but not totally happy. Now in two minds, get the proper Yoshi bracket or take your advice Eric, remove it. Just refit when needed without springs. Got a ride in with it. removed end baffle. Much quieter than last can, sort of same right thru revs whereas last one really sounded nice from 3k revs on. No difference in performance. I do like the blacked out look rather than the big shiny. Will think out options.

My last on this. Today, BJ, who gave me Tri Oval, delivered to my door the proper Yoshi centrestand bracket. Brand new in plastic bag. I cant believe your output Mate. Just incredible. This 14 owners club never ceases to amaze me. The generosity, not just for me but other stories i read, people helping people. It sure beats reading about the crap in the world. Long live this site.

I said the last but one more. Fitted the centrestand bracket, mongrel job but got there. This is 4th can ive tried on my bike. Three others all make slightly diff noise, Yoshi much quieter, end baffle out. Much deeper sound. This is only one that has made any difference to grunt. Much more from 3 k on. Really moves along, sure notice the difference.

Grog, thanks for the feedback I asked earlier on. Think I´ll go for the yoshi too. Some interesting prices on the euro sites.

My last post on Yoshi, 3rd time. 😂 Thought a pic needed. Came as all stainless, decided some black would hide dents. It has. Many coats of high temp, sanded between coats, just kept piling it on. Reckon it came up nice. Looks as new from most angles.

Grog, that looks a sharp 14 you have there!   :onya: :clapping:  You got different bars on there too?   Yep, the more you look at it, the more I can see why you always come back to it, it's just all there eh.   :smitten:

Thanks Col. I try to keep her clean. Nice now with a bit more grunt with Yoshi. Stock bars, i like them, i know others dont, just bar ends which work well. Next mods are , Smaller indicators, arrived today. Will polish headlight brackets n clutch cover. Hammerite fork legs. Big decision on peg hangers and swing arm, black or polish. Maybe Hammerite and polish chain cover for balance.Never got tired of planning stuff in 10 yrs, keeps an old bloke happy.
