Title: Getting the bike ready
Post by: Tally on Wednesday, 31 March 2021, 04:36 AM
Been getting my bike ready for the weekend as it's been sat idle since October, my mate who I take into work (car journey) is having an extended bank holiday weekend so to run my bike in I'm taking it work(thurs) just a short journey (10miles) just to make sure everything is working properly before deciding where to go on w/end, can't wait to get out on her even though the weather man says it's not going to be brilliant, but hey! this is England I'll wait till the last weather report possible  :rofl2: :onya: :riding: :1400spray:

Weather forecasts are useless here. Most accurate  way l find is to pat the cat....if its dry the suns out. If it's wet it's raining, never let me down yet. Enjoy ya ride :onya:

Well Col if you pat the other one and its wet who cares what the weathers doing, I'm staying home !!

Roo its Easter, they will tell you the forecast is "Fear to Frightening" they try to keep us fossil burners off the road.
Think of the climate before you go opening the throttle......
Have a great day

Went out and had a 30 minute ride this evening, everything works as it should, even the brakes don't judder and squeal anymore since I serviced them, much better progressive stopping power than before  :notworthy:, happy days :boogie: :onya:

Cleaned the Ducati to within an inch of it's life a coupe of days ago ready for Apr 1 when the tax is valid and took it out for a good ride today but there was a spot of rain near Minehead so the bike got covered in shit, I hope this is not the start of a new trend for the year.
