Hi can anyone tell me if the coils right across the range from k2-k7 are the same.
Many Thanks
Eric
They are all the same
1-4 are the same and 2-3 are the same only difference is the length of the HT leads .
:cheers:
Cheers seth, that's good to know. :cheers:
They are NLA from Suzuki too, so if you find a source let us know as someone is bound to have one fail eventually.

@GSXKING
What Notty said.
I've not had a chance but are they the same as a 1250 and maybe a 650 bandit ones they share alot of the same parts already.
I'll try to check but if anyone has access to a newer bandit could they check . :cheers:
Thanks
@Notty &
@Hooli. My first thought was WOW these parts are indestructible, like many other parts on my GSX. Just shows how well made they were from the get go. :worshippy: :worshippy: :worshippy:
Suzuki part numbers for the coils are 33420-42F01 (R/H) and 33410-42F01 (L/H).
According to Mick Hone's site they are unique to the GSX1400 and both are available in Australia (different price for each but both around $170 AUD).
I'm sure other coils could also be made to fit, either Suzuki or aftermarket.
:hat:
Of course there is always the option of the replacement Dyna coils from Just Bandits
http://www.justbandits.com/dyna-coils-pair-1.html
plus you'll need a set of leads as well
http://www.justbandits.com/taylor-leads-set-of-four.html
The part numbers are the same on Robinson's Suzuki as the last of the aircooled 650 bandit .
And on Robinson's for both bikes 1 side is available and one side isn't.
£127 ish .
If I ever needed new I'd be going down the Dyna coil route as
@gsxbarmy has described .
If wanting standard then
EBay and bike breakers are your friend . :cheers:
There are many dual outlet coils available. Even one of Suzuki cars use them. Only mods needed would be mounting and primary wiring connections. Never seems to be a prob on 14, but one day might be. If i come across a set for sale ill get as spares.
