Title: Pissed off.
Post by: VladTepes on Tuesday, 02 March 2021, 12:42 PM
Super annoyed today  :furious: because some clown of a woman sideswiped me on the way to work. She pushed into traffic into the adjacent lane. :furious:  Nearly brown pants time, it was.

It appears the bike didn't make contact on either side... just my body, on both sides.  :bugga:

The woman at fault of course had no idea I was even there till I bashed on her car with my hand didn't do any damage) to get her attention., She just shrugged at me...  :furious:

She should have seen me as I was directly in line with her front side window when she changed lanes into me.   :furious:

:furious:  :furious:  :furious:  :furious:  :furious:  :furious:  :furious:  :furious:  :furious:  :furious:  :furious:  :furious:

Got away with it, but got the adrenaline pumping for sure.

Lucky man now go and buy a lottery ticket, Glad you could walk away to tell the story

Now are you really sure there is no damage to some bling you have been longing after :)

So basically this Biatch is basically blind and deaf I mean you do have a full exhaust system

Most car drivers especially women NEVER even adjust they mirrors on their vehicles let alone USE the bloody things

I also spent 9 years living in QLD and sorry to say but I have never seen such bad driving as I witnessed there and I usually drive 10 to 14 hours a day when I am working

The words BOGAN and SELF RIGHTEOUS usually driving a piece of crap car with an I'm still drunk and i don't give a shit attitude spring to mind

One sunny friday afternoon I was approaching my last delivery of the day Mack truck and 5 Axle super dog trailer  (longer length for the non Aussies)

slowing down using the engine brakes indicating left with 4 indicators visible down the left hand side I moved out towards the centre of the road STILL indicating positioning myself to turn left into my place of delivery in an industrial area

start to turn only to hear a loud thump and a crunching sound as a BOGAN in a Nissaan Skyline thought it would be okay to boost up the inside as I was turning left and STILL indicating

He lost his car under the wheels of the trailer and spent 12 months + learning to walk again after loosing his right leg from the knee down

it took 3 hours for him to be cut from the car and taken to hospital all the time his family had shown up and were telling me that they were going to sue me etc

when he had his day in court he was Charged with mid range drink driving no insurance or registration (all in one)
disqualified for 18 months and $2500 fine

I was found not to be guilty of any wrong doing or fault even though the cop told me this at the scene I still had to appear in court take a day off work and travel nearly 400 km's just to be let off

all thanks to in truck camera with gps logging and a totally clean work diary logbook as well as some camera footage from the security hut of the business I was delivering to

His BOGAN family tried to sue me twice even after the court case

Still gives me nightmares

So just go by the mantra especially on a bike

"I am invisible and every body is trying to kill me"

repeat over and over until it becomes ingrained

Agree completely with your mantra , similar to mine" expect everyone to do there worst and have a plan B for that eventuality" the old saying there are Bold riders and Old riders but no Bold Old riders springs to mind. It seems that currently the JACK system rules as there is scant respect for anyone else's needs or property,

Rant over

I have installed a Dashcam on the K1600 front & back.
Saturday 7:00pm I have footage of a moron running out on the road in front of the Bike shouting "Run me over", (I'll try and post it if anybody's interested). Might have done the world a favour but I'm not damaging my property for that.
Given how quick people are to blame others for their own stupidity, cameras are the way to go to ensure no fines and due compensation.

No. middle aged = old enough to know better.

@Grumpy old man  yeah people are complete knobs when it comes to driving around trucks.  That guy learned the hard way.
Lovely family by the sounds of it. always someone else's fault eh.
Very much agree with you and @horse I think we all have the same mantra. I'm super vigilant but sometime shit happens without warning as in this case.

Still above ground, all good :)

Lucky Vlad, couldve been disaster. Agree with Mantra. Yesterday, my wife turning right into our shed, indicators on, just crawling. P plater passed her on rhs. Last week, just exiting a 60 zone, turns to 100. I went rhs, around car in front. Harley rider passed same car, lhs up the push bike lane, shot across in front of me, maybe missed me by 50 mm. So close to hitting lh end of bars. Not always same type causes the accidents.

Pleased you got away with that one Vlad, not a great way to start the day. Another driver with painted on eyes

Grumpy, my mindset when on the bike is "I'm invisible, l am not there and you cannot me and you will not see me" Little something l learned when l was 15. Looked the Hillman Avenger driver in the eyes then he turned right. It all slows down, you know you're gonna hit them. Then you do.

I hope this works.
It was on Reid Hwy heading towards Marmion Ave for those in Perth. Time stamp is fairly accurate.

What a tool! Nice e-braking there Batkwaka.  Makes me wish I had sidewinder missile pods on the 1402.

What a mad bastard!  Looks like there might have been a domestic on the side of the road, his jacket or whatever is thrown onto the road n he goes out to get it then turns on the rider?  Frogwit to quote one of Grogs terms.
